DALLAS, TX – A big rig driver was trying to avoid an initial crash at the I-20 and Highway 310 connector and swerved off the road, ending in a fiery truck collision that killed the motorist Sunday.
At around 1:30 a.m., the truck driver crashed into a guardrail and then landed on a trailer below the overpass connector, Fox4News said. The impact had then led the truck to catch on fire.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed these details. At this time, authorities have not released the victim’s identity or said if anyone else sustained injuries.
