FAYETTE CO., TN – An overturned tanker-truck carrying a cargo of gas and diesel has triggered a fuel leak on State Route 59 early Monday, WREG reports.
Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies say the truck overturned on Highway 59 near Sinai Drive at about 2:18 a.m.
Details concerning the cause of the crash are unclear at this time. However, due to the hazardous nature of the situation, the northbound lanes of Highway 59 have been closed off as emergency responders work to contain the fuel leak and mitigate any potential risks.
