SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC — At least one tractor-trailer caught fire early Thursday following a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 85 near Duncan, reports WSPA.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes approaching Exit 60 to South Carolina State Highway 101. It was first reported by the South Carolina Department of Transportation at about 2:30 a.m.
The events leading up to the accident remain unclear, but a photo taken at the scene indicates an Amazon semi-truck and another tractor-trailer were involved. Flames were observed emitting from at least one semi following the impact.
No injuries have been confirmed, but two northbound lanes were blocked as crews worked to clear the scene.
