NESHOBA COUNTY, MS — One person lost their life late Wednesday morning due to a log truck collision on State Highway 15 near southwest Philadelphia, reports WTOK-TV.
The exact location of the wreck has not been disclosed, but the Mississippi Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 11:30 p.m.
An early investigation indicates 59-year-old Joseph Burns, a Carthage resident, was driving a log truck when the vehicle veered off the roadway and hit a tree.
No other major injuries have been reported, and no other details have been released.
