WILMINGTON, NC – At least one person was injured in a three-vehicle collision involving an overturned dump truck near Sunset Park on Friday morning.
According to WECT, the truck was hauling salt from the port at about 10:30 a.m. when it overturned in the 2300 block of Carolina Beach Road, near Medical Center Drive. Two additional vehicles then collided at the scene.
The truck driver reportedly suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. It is unclear if any occupants of the other vehicles involved were hurt.
