1 hospitalized, 1 killed following Brandon trash truck, motorcycle crash

BRANDON, MS – A driver of a trash truck was taken to a hospital, and a motorcyclist, a 57-year-old man, died after their vehicles collided Friday. 

WAPT said this crash happened after 11 a.m. on Highway 468 in the vicinity of Greenfield Circle. 

After arriving, emergency responders took the truck driver to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for treatment of unspecified wounds and pronounced the motorcyclist, Charles Bynum, dead at the scene. 

The Mississippi Highway Patrol started an investigation but has not released other details at this time.
