1 life claimed in Mustang Ridge pickup, trash truck wreck 

MUSTANG RIDGE, TX – One person passed away in a collision between a pickup truck and a trash truck in the 1500 block of Camino Real after 5 p.m. Monday. 

Mustang Ridge Police told CBS Austin they, along with Travis County Fire Rescue & EMS) arrived at the scene a short time later. 

Paramedics conducted CPR on the person but unfortunately succumbed to fatal wounds. 

Officials did not confirm if it was the pickup truck or trash truck occupant who passed away. They also did not clarify if the person was behind the wheel or released their name. 

Additional information, including the events leading up to this crash, has not been publicly disclosed.
