GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A tractor-trailer wreck last Tuesday morning, November 21, led to an hours-long lane closure on State Highway 312 near west Dacula, reports 11Alive.
The crash unfolded on the westbound highway at Hurricane Trail, prompting a response from Georgia Department of Transportation crews shortly before 6:00 a.m.
Officials did not immediately say what led up to the accident, but boxes of fire logs were left strewn across the roadway.
One of the two westbound lanes was shut down as crews worked to clear the debris.
Footage captured at the scene indicates the truck’s trailer was cut nearly all the way through as a result of the crash.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved, and no major injuries were reported following the event.
