TROUP COUNTY, GA — A crash involving a school bus and a log truck Thursday afternoon near LaGrange sent at least two students to the hospital, according to 11Alive.
The collision took place at the intersection of West Point Road (U.S. Highway 29) and Pegasus Parkway, just outside of the city. It was first reported shortly after 4:00 p.m.

Two of those students were taken to a local hospital, and one of those children was assisted by a Troup County School System administrator until the child’s parents were able to arrive. The extent of the patients’ injuries was not immediately disclosed.
At least one other person was also reported hurt but was not transported to a hospital.
Troup County deputies had the area shut down during the response and investigation, which remains underway. Officials have not reported any pending charges at this time.
