FORT MYERS, FL – A Tesla driver was transported to the Lee Memorial Hospital for minor wounds upon colliding with an oil tanker truck Saturday.
This collision happened on MLK Boulevard, below the I-75 overpass, NBC-2 reported.
Local authorities said that when the vehicles collided, the tanker truck started leaking oil, leading to a spill. While not mentioned, it is possible emergency officials called Hazmat crews to the scene to clean up the mess.
It is not immediately clear if the tanker truck driver was injured.
