At least 1 life claimed as 18-wheeler overturns in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – At least one person succumbed to fatal injuries in a semi-truck collision on the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike Thursday.

This crash took place around 2 a.m. north of Becker Road, according to WPTV. Due to the severity of this wreckage, Florida Highway Patrol and crews shut down all northbound lanes for the scene clearance process and lifted closures by 9:30 a.m.
