KEISER, AR – A fuel tank from a tractor-trailer burst, leading several gallons of diesel fuel to spill onto I-55 after the big rig crashed around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Kait8 reported.
The driver managed to escape injuries, and crews had to close a majority of the lanes on the freeway so they could clean up the mess and so authorities could conduct their investigation.
Despite the investigation being started, officials have not yet confirmed the events leading up to this wreck or revealed if other vehicles were involved.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation revealed that all lanes reopened just before 3 p.m.
Updates will be posted should they become available.
