BRUNSWICK, GA – A driver of a white pickup truck ran a red light, leading them to collide with a commercial truck and the trucks to plow into a business on Norwich Street Wednesday.
This collision happened around 12:30 p.m. when both vehicles were going on Norwich, First Coast News reported. Brunswick police confirmed the driver of the commercial vehicle had the green light at the time of the collision.
Footage and additional information from officers showed that the commercial truck had also crashed into the corner of the building — the Discount Computer Outlet establishment — causing it to collapse, along with an awning on the pickup truck.
Police are investigating the specifics of Wednesday’s wreck and haven’t confirmed many other details, but did certify that the drivers did not sustain serious wounds.
