FDOT truck catches fire following crash on I-95 in Jupiter

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL — A fiery collision involving a Florida Department of Transportation truck was reported Monday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Jupiter, according to CBS12.

The accident took place on the northbound lanes of I-95 before Exit 83 to Donald Ross Road. It was first reported at around 1:09 p.m.

Very few details have been made available at this time, but the three left lanes were blocked after the FDOT truck was involved in a wreck and subsequently became engulfed in flames.

Footage captured at the scene shows dark clouds of smoke rising from the truck as emergency crews arrived on the scene.
