2 sent to hospital following pickup truck vs semi-trailer crash in Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, FL — Two people were hurt Friday, October 27, in south Orlando due to a wreck involving a semi truck with an attached trailer, reports ClickOrlando.com.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the crash happened at Taft Vineland Road and Orange Blossom Trail at about 3:48 p.m.

The events leading up to the collision were not immediately provided, but a Chevrolet pickup truck and a semi-truck with a trailer were impacted.

While both drivers were transported to a hospital, one patient was rushed as a trauma alert. The trauma victim, whose injuries are considered non-life-threatening, was later listed in stable condition.
