Woman killed when SUV rear-ends semi in Menomonee Falls, WI

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI – A woman was killed shortly before noon yesterday when the SUV she was driving slammed into the back of a slowing semi, The Freeman reports.

Police say the incident happened at 11:49 a.m. on southbound I-41/U.S.-145. The paper did not give the exact location of the crash.

The SUV’s driver, identified only as a 47-year-old woman, did not slow their vehicle in time to avoid striking the back of the semi-truck. She was evidently already dead by the time police arrived on the scene.
