JACKSON CO., WI – One person died over the weekend in a semi-truck accident along the interstate in Jackson County, Wisconsin, reports WEAU 13 News.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews responded to a rollover collision on the westbound side of I-94 near mile marker 115. This is just northeast of Black River Falls.
An initial investigation indicates that for unknown reasons, a truck driver lost control of their vehicle, left the interstate, and overturned into a ditch.
Authorities say that an additional commercial motor vehicle may have been involved.
The driver of the semi-truck died at the scene. The victim’s name has not yet been released to the public.
A full investigation is underway.
