TOWN OF BURNETT, WI – A head-on collision involving a semi truck claimed one life on Thursday morning, FOX 6 Milwaukee reports.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on County Highway A near Prospect Road around 6:20 am.
Police received a call about a car driving erratically on northbound County Highway A. The caller remained on the line as officers attempted to locate the vehicle, and would eventually inform them that the car had collided head-on with a semi truck.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was evaluated at the scene but was uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation.
