State Police investigate Chesterfield Co. tractor-trailer accident 

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Virginia State Police are investigating the details behind a tractor-trailer accident that happened on I-295 North Wednesday.

According to WRIC, the tractor-trailer appeared to have jackknifed before the cab had gone over the edge and struck a bridge. The impact of the collision also caused fuel to spill from the truck.

Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were last seen containing the fuel.

State Police did not say if slick road conditions continued to the crash or if anyone, including the driver, was injured.
