Semi driver killed in multi-auto crash with another big rig in Aylett 

AYLETT, VA – A 35-year-old man passed away after he crashed his semi-truck into another big rig, which then prompted a multi-vehicle wreck on King William Road Monday.

This serious crash, which involved a total of six vehicles, happened around 3:30 p.m. west of Richmond Tappahannock Highway, WRIC reports. Despite wearing a seatbelt, the man, identified as Brian Winston Carroll, perished at the collision site.

Virginia State Police said three other drivers were hospitalized for injuries deemed non-life-threatening. Another motorist was also sent to a hospital via a medical helicopter for additional evaluation.

Officers launched an investigation but have not released other information.
