News: Driver overcorrects, collides with semi in Shenandoah Co.

SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA – A Honda CRV driver had suffered serious wounds when he merged into a left lane, overcorrected, hit a guardrail, and collided with one semi-truck Wednesday. 

This collision happened on I-81 North, according toDaily Voice . Shenandoah County authorities said that the big rig crashed into the Honda driver, Harry Martin, after Martin had struck the guardrail. Despite the truck driver’s best efforts, they were unable to avoid hitting Martin. A second tractor-trailer then hit the first truck. 

While Martin was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital, both truck drivers were spared from injuries. 

No other information has been reported at this time.
