PENHOOK, VA – A 69-year-old man operating a Mack Truck passed away after drifting off Route 626, overcorrected, went over a centerline, and then overturned and crashed Monday.
This collision took place south of Lumpkin View Road, and the driver, later identified as Samuel Lawrence Wright, a Bedford resident, had passed away at the collision site, WDBJ reports.
Virginia State Police started an investigation and have not released additional information.
