HILLSVILLE, VA – Officials were dispatched to the scene of a three-vehicle rear-end collision involving a semi-trailer on I-77 Wednesday, WDBJ reported.
The Hillsville Fire Department, Virginia State Police, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and Carroll County Fire Rescue were all summoned to the scene.
The details of this crash remain unclear. However, first responders indicated that a white Honda sustained some moderate rear-end damage, while a pickup truck (hauling a horse trailer) suffered some heavy front-end damage.
It is unclear if the drivers were injured, although officials confirmed that the three horses inside the trailer were unharmed.
