LOUISA, VA – A fire truck operator was left with minor injuries after their truck drifted off the 4000th block of Cross Country Road and slid down an embankment Thursday.
The solo collision took place before 2:15 a.m. as the firefighter was responding to a house fire, 12 on Your Side said. First responders took the fire truck driver to a hospital, and he has been released since.
The truck had 3,000 gallons of water. Crews were able to extinguish the flames within an hour’s time frame and confirmed no one was injured.
