At least 1 left injured after truck crash on I-95 in Stafford County

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – Authorities responded to an injury truck collision Monday morning, August 12, that caused major backups on Interstate 95 near Fredericksburg, according to Daily Voice.

The wreck occurred on the southbound lanes of I-95 before Exit 136 to U.S Highway 1, or Centerport Parkway. It was first reported at about 7:30 a.m.

While the events leading up to the crash have not been shared, a four-mile traffic backup formed behind the scene as crews worked to remove the truck off the roadway.

At least one person was confirmed injured as a result of the incident, but the severity of their condition was not immediately apparent.
