Woman Killed in Texas Semi-Truck Crash

TERRY COUNTY, TX – A Brownfield woman died in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday afternoon, KCBD reports.

Authorities say the accident occurred at the intersection of US Highway 385 and FM 2196 just after 2:30 pm. The truck driver, 45-year-old Rosalba Munoz, was headed eastbound on FM 2196 when she ran the stop sign at the US Highway 385 intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Elizabeth Miranda.

Miranda was pronounced dead at the scene. Munoz was transported to Brownfield Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
