TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – An ambulance took one person to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center following a pin-in crash involving a semi-truck near Elroy Tuesday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision happened before 2 p.m. at the South FM 973 Road and FM 812 Road intersection. The person who was extricated was the one who was pinned inside their car after it collided with the semi-truck.

The individual who was hospitalized was issued a trauma alert and was sent to be treated for potentially serious wounds.
There were three other people who were involved in this collision, but they refused to be taken to a hospital.
