MCKINNEY, TX – A major accident left a semi-truck dangling over an overpass on Highway 121 on Wednesday afternoon, WFAA reports.
According to authorities, the truck was hauling two vehicles on a flatbed trailer when the driver swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle in its path at an overpass near Hardin Boulevard.
The truck collided with a concrete barrier and was left hanging off the edge of the overpass. The McKinney Fire Department rescued the trapped driver by placing a ladder beneath the dangling cab and smashing the glass.
The drivers of the truck and the disabled vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
