Stop sign runner causes crash with trash truck in Brazoria 

BRAZORIA, TX – A school bus driver declined to stop at a stop sign on State Highway 36 around 7:30 a.m., leading them to plow into a dump truck Thursday.

This collision happened in the area of FM 522 and County Road 354, KHOU reports. A medical helicopter took the school bus driver, one student among 33 were taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

Texas Department of Public Safety, who were among the first responders, said the other students on board were also evaluated for their injuries and released to their parents or were taken to school sometime later.
