Police Search for Suspected Hit-and-Run Driver in Crane County, TX

CRANE COUNTY, TX – A man was killed last Monday after his vehicle collided with the back of a semi truck on State Highway 329. Now, First Alert 7 reports that police are searching for the driver of the semi truck.

The collision occurred around 10:20 pm. The passenger vehicle burst into flames after colliding with the rear of the semi, believed to be a sand hauler.

The driver of the passenger vehicle,  42-year-old John Mathew Bryant, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi fled the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to Crane County Sheriff’s Office at (432) 558-3571 or the Texas Department of Public Safety at (432) 498-2131.
