Motorcyclist hospitalized after Del Valle crash with trash truck 

DEL VALLE, TX – STAR Flight workers airlifted a motorcyclist to a hospital after a crash involving a trash truck in the River Timber area Friday, ATCEMS said. 

The collision, reported before 9:15 a.m., left the motorcyclist pinned, which required extrication by Travis County Fire Rescue. Fire crews were able to successfully free the biker prior to the hospital transportation. 

The motorcyclist is recovering from non-life-threatening wounds at Dell Seton Medical Center, while the truck driver appears to have been unharmed. 

The events leading up to the wreck remain undisclosed. Updates will be added as our newsroom learns more.
