EL PASO, TX – A man was killed after a semi-truck collided with his stopped pickup truck on I-10 last Thursday, Yahoo! News reports.
The collision occurred near mile marker zero just after 11 pm. 33-year-old Natanael Mejia was driving west in a Chevrolet pickup when he stopped in the roadway for unknown reasons. The semi-truck approached the pickup from behind and was unable to stop before colliding with it.
Mr. Mejia was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
