CHILTON, TX – An 86-year-old woman driving a Buick and her passenger died when they collided with a semi-trailer while turning left onto SH-7 from FM-935 Monday.
This collision happened around 4 p.m., KWTX said. Upon arrival, Texas Department of Public Safety declared the 86-year-old woman, later identified as Eugenio Hernandez, from Victoria, dead at the scene, while first responders rushed her passenger to Baylor Scott and White in Temple.
At the hospital, the passenger, later identified as 72-year-old Marry Hernandez, also from Victoria, died at the scene.
