WACO, TX – A semi-truck driver sustained minor wounds in a fiery collision that happened on I-35 below the Valley Mills Drive overpass Wednesday.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. and warranted a response from local fire crews and police, according to KWTX. After arriving, officials shut down the lanes so crews could extinguish the flames and clean up Honey Maid graham crackers, which seemed to have fallen off the truck. The truck also appeared to have been slightly damaged as it struck a barrier.
Authorities also closed New Road lanes along the scene of the wreck to further accommodate the scene clearance process and investigation.
