Driver hospitalized after UPS strikes tree in Collin Co. 

COLLIN  COUNTY, TX – A driver of a UPS truck was sent to the hospital upon crashing into a tree off Sam Rayburn Tollway amid the statewide heat wave last Friday.

Fox4News said the driver had passed out due to heat exhaustion, thus leading to the collision. A photo from the source showed that one of the windshields and front bumper came off. 

The driver has been released from the hospital since.
