NEAR CANTON, TX – One tractor-trailer driver was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler following a three big-rig wreck on I-20 West Saturday, according to local reports.
Elmo fire crews had to extricate the driver prior to medical helicopter personnel taking them to the emergency room.
Crews and other first responders closed all of the westbound interstate lanes, although, during the crash scene clearance and investigation, drivers were still able to get by on the westbound shoulder.
