MATHIS, TX – An 18-wheeler had veered off State Highway 188 and into I-37, leading three other vehicles to strike the big rig, sending two people to the hospital Thursday.
This collision happened before 11 p.m., according to KIITV. The San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office, who responded to the scene, said one of the vehicles (which they did not specify) burst into flames.
First responders have not provided an update on the physical conditions of the two people who were hospitalized.
