NASHVILLE, TN – A woman suffered serious injuries in a collision with a semi-truck on I-24 early last Friday morning, WSMV reports.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the accident occurred near the Thompson Lane/Briley Parkway interchange around 2 am. A BMW sedan was attempting to pull over because of a flat tire when the semi-truck struck it from behind.
A female passenger in the vehicle was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries. The semi-driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
