OBION COUNTY, TN — Two semi-tractor trailer trucks were involved in a wreck last Thursday, January 25, that caused a fire on U.S. Highway 51 near Troy, reports Thunderbolt Radio.
Multiple area agencies, including fire departments from Troy, Obion, Hornbreak and Union City, as well as the Obion County Rescue Squad, Obion County Sheriff’s Office, and Tennessee Highway Patrol, were all dispatched to the scene.
Details remain limited, but officials said the crash and resulting fire caused part of US-51 to shut down during the emergency response.
No injuries were immediately reported, but the incident left both trucks significantly damaged.
