RUSSELLVILLE, TN – A Texas man was charged with Due Care in connection with a double tractor-trailer collision that happened on I-81 South on Saturday.
The crash was reported at 3:30 p.m. near mile marker 19, according to WJHL. Tennessee Highway Patrol said the Texas man was operating a semi-truck and going south on the highway when he lost control of his vehicle, drifted off the road, and sideswiped a stationary semi-truck that was on the interstate’s shoulder.
Troopers identified the other truck driver as being from Louisiana. Both drivers were spared from injuries.
