TDOT shuts down I-40 W in Hartford due to rig rig collision 

HARTFORD, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews had to shut down I-40 West after 8:30 a.m. due to a big rig collision. 

Crews and Tennessee Highway Patrol reopened the area before 9:15 a.m., according to WATE. While the area reopened, delays are still lingering as officials are working to remove the truck from the accident scene. 

Officials have not specified the exact cause of the crash or said if anyone was injured. New details will be added after our team learns more.
