LINDEN, TN – A log truck drifted off Highway 13, which led the truck to flip over and hit several electrical wires, resulting in temporary power outages Tuesday.
This collision occurred on the northbound lanes and also caused several logs to spill out onto the ditch, WSMV reports. The Perry County Sheriff’s Office and Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative were summoned to the scene. Within an hour of arriving, Meriwether Lewis technicians were able to restore residents’ power.
Deputies have not confirmed what caused the truck driver to lose control of their vehicle nor stated if they sustained injuries or were transported to a hospital. These details will be provided in an updated news blog post once authorities release additional information.
