Multi-Vehicle Semi-Truck Accident Kills One in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, TN – An accident on I-24 East involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles killed one person early Wednesday morning, WSMV 4 reports.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at mile marker 63 near the Davidson County/Rutherford County line around 2 am.

A Chevrolet Silverado and a tractor-trailer were headed eastbound when they approached an accident scene involving the semi-truck and another vehicle. The unoccupied semi was blocking two lanes when the Silverado collided with it, killing the driver, 56-year-old Hector Rodriguez Banuelos. The tractor-trailer driver was unharmed.
