HENDERSON COUNTY, TN – Multiple commercial vehicles were involved in a fatal collision on I-40 in Henderson County, Tennessee on Monday morning, the Tennessee Highway Patrol reports.
The accident occurred around 9 am on the eastbound lanes of I-40 near mile marker 98. According to the police, the collision involved an “oversized load and at least two other [commercial motor vehicles]” and left a large metal beam extending across the roadway. At least one person was killed.
Highway Patrol warns drivers to expect delays.
The collision is under investigation.
