Female driver loses life in crash with trash truck in Goodlettsville 

GOODLETTSVILLE, TN – A woman operating a small Toyota car collided with a trash truck and was trapped and then extricated from her vehicle before passing away Monday. 

This deadly collision took place before 3:15 p.m. at the State Route 386 and Conference Drive intersection, according to WSMV

The Goodlettsville Fire Department extricated her. An ambulance then rushed the woman to Skyline Health, where she succumbed to fatal wounds. 

The Goodlettsville Police Department, specifically the Goodlettsville’s Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT), is investigating the specifics of what brought about Monday’s wreck. 

Authorities shut down most of the eastbound lanes before reopening all lanes around 8:30 p.m. 

No other information, including the woman’s name, has been reported at this time.
