MURFREESBORO, TN – A rollover crash involving a dump truck on I-24 in Murfreesboro this morning left one person injured.
According to WKRN, the crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate near Medical Center Parkway Bridge.
First responders say the truck hit the overpass before overturning. As the truck started to catch fire, the driver managed to escape. Reports indicate that they sustained injuries during the crash, but the severity of these injuries remains uncertain.
Traffic delays were reported in the area for some time following the crash. All lanes reopened by 6:30 a.m.
