WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN — An Interstate 840 eastbound exit ramp near southeast Franklin was shut down Thursday morning following a semi-truck wreck, according to FOX 17 WZTV Nashville.
The collision unfolded on the ramp to northbound I-65. FOX 17 crews reported at 7:15 a.m. that only the emergency lane remained open for passing traffic during rush hour.
Williamson County Emergency Management Agency officials have not released specific information about the cause or nature of the crash, but no other vehicles appear to have been impacted, and no injuries were reported.
Morning commuters were advised of delays impacted the area, forcing traffic to re-route around the ramp. Northbound drivers coming from Spring Hill were asked to seek alternate routes.
