HENDERSON COUNTY, TN — All westbound lanes of I-40 were closed early Monday afternoon near Wildersville following a rollover semi-truck collision, reports WBBJTV.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 110, east of Exchange Road. It was first reported some time before 12:30 p.m., prompting a multi-agency ersponse.
It’s unclear what led up to the wreck, but crews arrived at around 1:15 p.m., about 45 minutes later, to find a blue Prius with airbags that appeared to be deployed and severe damage to its driver’s side. Nearby, a semi-truck was discovered at rest on its side and with unspecified damage.
No details about the cause of the crash or possible injuries were reported immediately following the collision.
