GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC – The victim of a fatal truck accident that occurred at a White Horse Road intersection in September has been identified as 19-year-old Anderson University student, Shane Roberts McVey, FOX Carolina reports.
The collision occurred around 5 pm on Monday, September 26. A Toyota 4Runner heading north attempted to turn off White Horse Road onto SC 123 when a southbound 18-wheeler collided with the vehicle.
McVey was a passenger in the 4Runner. He and the vehicle’s four other occupants were taken to the hospital. McVey would later die from his injuries. Two others remain in serious condition.
