MARLBORO CO., SC – A driver died several days following a truck accident near the North Carolina border last week, WMBF reports.
The crash took place on Monday, August 14th at about 5:20 p.m. when the truck driver lost control on Pea Bridge Road near the intersection with McGuirt Drive.
The truck skidded off the side of the roadway, where it slammed into a tree.
The driver was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries one week later on Monday, August 21st. Their identity is not mentioned in the report.
